It's time to support what we value most: Chicago's kids. In an effort to address the ongoing violence in Chicago's communities, Chicago State University Graduate Social Work students will be conducting a town hall meeting.

Who:

Concerned Citizens, Community Organizations, Religious Groups, Block Clubs, and those who are just plain fed up.

What:
A panel discussion will be convened at 4pm. Come and share your perspective on ways to curb violence. Come and exchange ideas and network with community organizations that are addressing the needs of youth and families.

What Else:
Community organizations that provide services and wish to promote and inform the public about their initiatives, programs, and services are encouraged to participate. (Space is provided for you to set up an information booth.) If your organization or group needs volunteers, coaches, chaperones, participants, please come to gain volunteers. Bring brochures and flyers. Network and bring solutions. Find a person or a place to provide or provides: parenting pointers, couples counseling, family support, after school programs, child care, summer camps, spiritual awareness, community resources, sports teams, teen activities, tutoring . Come out to share. Don't forget to wear green!
